Preparation

Yes its true, BS will be starting and interviews will be held Monday next week with our CST Manager, Subject Matter Expert and Mr. Miller the BS TSE in the US.

Everyone is excited with this recent development in our project. We are all hoping and positive that we will be able to replicate the results that we’ve given them when we first started the Consumer Team. Weekend is here and I won’t be able to post any recent developments. I’ll keep you guys posted by next week.

Business Systems

At long last 😉 !

The most awaited opportunity inside our camp is about to happen. After promoting people for Trainer, QA and Team Lead posts, our account is ramping up. Business Systems is about to start and we are looking four individuals that will be able to support our needs, I am going to try my luck.

What is it for me?

New product scope and support. Training here and hopefully in the U.S., additional workload for us and I do hope that the pay would be okay.

Update for Singapore

Whew! 🙂

After two days of submitting my resume to my brother’s friend, he pinged me today and told me that my paper was already submitted to the agency. I can’t believe it, now I am praying that everything will push through so that I can fly and work in Singapore. He gave me some figures of what I should ask, I was amazed to see how big it is when converted to Philippine Peso to give you an idea it was almost 6 digits ;).

I might get a call within the next few days. Let see what will happen, I’ll keep you posted.

Just got a chat message from my brother yesterday. He informed me that his former schoolmate B) who is now based in Singapore is looking for people who are in the I.T. Field 😉, I’ve talked to his friend and confirmed that he is looking and wanted to help me out get there. Is this a sign? 😦 .

I am hoping that this will end well with me traveling and working in Singapore! 😉

Boredom

😦 I am really bored

What is happening to me? My brothers friend contacted him to help me out get into Singapore! Am I ready? I still don’t know but hopefully by tomorrow he’ll have a good news for me. As usual I am very tired and sleepy, that’s why they call me sleepy head.

NMC, what is that?

Hohum! I feel so sleepy on the first part of my shift today, I wonder what can I do feel comfortable and awake?

OMG, it’s 02:00AM, what am I supposed to do?

Oh yeah it’s my training day for the NMC (Network Management Card).  We’ve been waiting for this lately.  I believe you might ask, Why?  Because this would be the next step for us to move and open another pilot LOB, the Business Systems.  It’s been five months already when we all started this pioneer account here as Consumer Systems and all went well, our team is now composed of 30+ agents and we are backed out by almost a hundred of agents in Rhode Island (HQ).  Hopefully when Dona, our manager gets back here from the US she has some great news to tell us.  Like what?  Getting New Hires for Wave 3, 4 & 5 … conducting interviews for the Pilot Team of Business Systems … introducing new benefits for the team … fixing the shuttle problems that we have right now … salary increase … our REGULARIZATION papers to be signed, submitted and approved.

New hires are getting to learn a lot about our products and techniques.  Some of them are happy and some are not.  Is it because of the pay?  or Is it because of the … Two and a half hours more and I’m off.

Message Boards

I haven’t noticed it, but my obsession to message boards of forums is now celebrating its 4th year. It started when I was hired on a company who manages the entire network and I am the only one on that department. I’ve been to PCXpress, PinoyPC etc..but there are certain forums that I couldn’t forget. Why? It is because I was able to make a circle of friends even though I haven’t met anyone of them.

PC-Experts.ORG this is one kind of a forum wherein members are promoted as they participate and help co-members with their problems like pc problems, networking, gaming and others. I started out as a recruit and now I am a practitioner hoping to get another star as a Veteran. Members are all helpful to one another, if you are looking for a good place to make some good friends or learn more about computers and the latest technologies login and be a member of this wesbsite.

TipidPC.COM , this forum is mainly for buying and selling of PC items and gadgets it is almost the same as PC-Experts.ORG. Members here requires to be registered not online but verified as well for online transaction or merchandise exchange. I was able to meet new friends from Cavite by being a member of this forum, those are iceman08, ikabod, sandykalugdan, learner, strubar, bartman1973, cyberfunk, a_r_m_a_n_d and jrizaldo.

Sleepy Head

Almost four o’clock in the morning, with just 2 hours of sleep I know that I won’t be able to make it. My eyes are telling me to get some rest, customers gets irate with the way I handle the call because instead of troubleshooting their problem I put them on hold and take some rest. Ssshhh…don’t let my manager know.

People here in the company thinks that we are here just to take in calls, they do not know that we are the people responsible taking the SH** from their “expletive deleted”. How I wish that they would be here and take in some calls and make the name good again and retain good customers.

Four more hours and we’re off the phone, another day had passed and just one more day and it is the most joyful day of our lives – the day off. Two days of no work just happy moments. The team is planning for some kinda team building and we are not yet decided if we are going to do paint ball, amazing race, kayaking, hiking, walking and the likes.

I can’t believe it, after a week of selling cold-cuts, chips, rice and value meals me and my wife was able to earn a good amount of money that will help us start another business venture which is “Softdrinks for Sale” / “Soda for Sale”. It doesn’t require a big capital, you can get a case of the Coca-cola “Sakto” for only Php 106.00 which sells at Php 7.00/bottle. We would also sell the big ones which are called “Litro” which sells at Php 37.00/bottle. I do hope that this new business venture will give us a good income.

My wife and I also attended a seminar regarding herbal products. I don’t know if you’ve heard about Kinetic Philippines, Blue Miracle and the likes. They said it could increase your libido and it would be able to make both partners fertile. Hmmmm, makes me think!
